Saturday of nice...

Fete at the Waterpoet pub.
Cute bunting and balloon overload, a quick game of dominoes, a delicious elderflower cocktail, then stuck into the serious business of learning Backgammon - of which I am now slightly addicted.

Later a walk over the bridge at Embankment gave me a glimpse of this sky - awesome!

VICTIM

I'm slowly discovering Dirk Bogarde after reading his autobiography, and the more I see the more I think he is amazing.
I have just watched his film Victim twice because it was so good. It's gone into my 10 ten favorites ever - beautifully shot, awesome London locations and the story is just so good, I can't believe it was made in 1961...

Floating teacups

Saturday entailed a visit to the London Design Festival with the lovely Cherry. We walked for miles and saw some great stuff. My favorite were the floating teacups.
