Appealing Apartmet
A year ago Dave and I stayed in an amazing apartment in Belgium. I came across the photos and had forgotten just how lovely it was. One day I'll have a place like this...

I had written this on the back of an envelope and was about to throw it away when I saw it. I have no idea where its from -

VICTIM
I'm slowly discovering Dirk Bogarde after reading his autobiography, and the more I see the more I think he is amazing.
I have just watched his film Victim twice because it was so good. It's gone into my 10 ten favorites ever - beautifully shot, awesome London locations and the story is just so good, I can't believe it was made in 1961...

The film was received as a masterpiece, and at the finale, as the lights came up in the vas audiorium, Fellini leapt from his seat in the stalls and facing us he saluted visconti with the great cry of 'Il maestro! Il maestro"
